Welcome to the MCC Writing Center.
Writing is a social process; the Writing Center serves as a place and
catalyst to enable that process.
The Writing Center is sponsored by the Humanities
Division and provides one-on-one assistance to students, faculty
and MCC staff with any writing project.
How do I begin?
- Assistance is available in person or by phone (810) 762-0229.
- No appointment needed.
- Bring your assignment sheet, notes you have taken and any writing that you
have started on the assignment.
- Come early. Arrive at least 30 minutes before the Writing Center closes.
- Plan ahead. Give yourself plenty of time before the assignment is due to
revise your work.
